Hey guys I'm back from Japan, Tokyo! The highest temperature there is at 8 degrees, lowest at abt 2 degrees. It's really chilly when the wind blows. In winter, they have shorter daylight-saving, hence the sky is dark at abt 5pm. Their subways are also complicated with many different lines available. Their exists are confusing with as many as 60 in a station. However, one will get comfortable when he/she get the hands of how everything works and links.

Politeness and helpfulness is implicited in their genes. It comes naturally which makes Japan a welcoming country. I had no problem asking for directions from the street people, police etc, and the hoteliers are friendly and approachable. Although my hotel is located in a redlight district area, i have to say i enjoyed the nightlife and my stays are wonderful.

I saw their cultured "Ah Bang" and they are much better looking, groomed and styled then those we had in Singapore. In short, their presence ain't annoying. The gals are pretty almost like a doll, they really knew how to dress and makeup. There are many convenient stores, restaurants and fastfood outlets in the area of Shinjuku. The food are not as expensive as i expected. Their japanese food can be purchased at as little as 450 yen, their macdonalds set meal at abt 580 yen. I love their breads and chocolates which range between 105-200 yen.

Tokyo is a big city with highclass shopping, buildings and parks. I love the serenity and boardness of their park. It's amazing and gorgeous. I definitely do not mind spending hours at the park reading, jogging or picnic (of coz not in winter!) Mostly businessman, their proficiency in English is superb. Haha i knew becoz my dad randomly asked one of them for guide to the tokyo station, and he picked a really handsome guy to ask :P
In conclusion, guys do not be afraid to go to Japan. It's not as expensive as you think besides the transportation. Most of them know simple english and are generally helpful. Do not miss out Japan for anything in the world...it's a beautiful and civilised country.

Frustrating!!! Arrg...never felt this mad for such a long time...
I have to harden myself to be a bad gal by leaving all my family members in SIN while i venture out myself. The main problem now is that i wun be permitted to travel alone. Defiant isn't in my nature but if need be...juz do it! That's what i will do. I always wanted to bring my family for travel but it will never never ever work out! Having Informed them 1 mth in advance abt the upcoming trip, my sis then recently chk her passport to find that it had a validity less than 6 mths. She refused to renew it becoz she wanted to add on a christian name that she "for heaven sake" had yet to decide. My dad wanted to take aeroplane, value for money but eliminated countries like Vietnam, Indonesia & Bangkok...so tell me how can it be cheap? Haiz i have nothing to say abt them as to why they are always STUCK in SIN. I juz wanna get out!!! I dun want them to restrict me too becoz they are...
I wander if i'll be scare alone in a foreign country? Well...maybe not becoz all my trips had been with my friends. I guess i will feel lonely without a company but tat feeling will definitely vanish when i do my shopping. I'm a crazy shopper! I wanted to try running out on my own, itz a form of independent...spending my own money, living alone, taking care of myself, at the same time learning more as i grow. Well my last resort if need be...

Welcome
