Returned back from Korea (Seoul) had been 5 days. I resumed my work since this Monday...the inclination to go to sleep is still overpowering! Ha ha it is true during winter, one gets tired and become reckless easily. Not to mention it was snowing when i stepped down from the Airport Limousine Bus. As early as 8-9pm, i could be dozing off in bed. Weiling, her mum and me stayed in "Stay 7 Service Apartment." It was a big apartment with kitchen facility provided.

The distinct features of Seoul is their palaces and Korean folk houses. The palace guards do not stand motionlessly at a spot. They are still free to make minor movements. I was lucky to catch the changing of guards ceremony @ Gyeongbokgung Palace on Day 3 of my trip.

Have you watched the Korean drama "Da Chang Jing"? that is filmed in Changdeokgung Palace. One can only enter there under a guided tour during selected timing. It cost KRW 3,000 equivalent to S$5 (Cheap ya).

There are three types of Korean Folk Houses: Poor/Middle Class/Rich. Basically, we get to see their rooms, kitchens, traditional wedding displays etc.

The Koreans have their own dress sense, which i would categories as:
- Work=Elegant
- Casual=Stylish
However, their clothing are expensive! The cheapest i can find was KRW 10,000 after discount equivalent S$17. If not you can expect to spend over S$20 on a piece of t-shirt.

My only misgiving in Seoul is not able to enter into Lotte World Theme Park. They are closed during winter. We wondered around in the shopping complex and took photo with this magnificent fountain which i love very much. I can almost imagine myself in Rome...my dream destination. That's all I'm going to tell about Korea...go see it for yourself!!!
